We introduced the Autism Family Day at Franklin Park Zoo event in 2019 to broaden our outreach to the Boston area as Bailey's Team has a stronger presence in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We value our partnership with Zoo New England and look forward to yet another year hosting this event with them to support individuals living with autism and their families. This event is different from our Animal Adventure in that the Franklin Park Zoo offers free admission to individuals on the autism spectrum. In addition, Bailey's Team for Autism is supporting the cost of one (1) family member or caretaker for each individual with autism in attendance. Other family members and friends are invited to attend our special event as well at the regular cost of admission. We also offer an area including activities and resource information. There will be arts and crafts for children and adults as well as a table full of information including area organizations and supports. We hope to see you there! |
